NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM/September 15 -- Kazakhstan will increase agricultural exports to China.
According to the agreement signed between Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese government has delivered equipment worth 11.15 million yuan to a quality testing laboratory in Shyghys Qazaqstan state.
Related agreement was signed between the Kazakh Agriculture Minister Yerbol Karashukeyev and Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Zhangxiao under the framework of Chinese President's state visit to Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh Agriculture Ministry said the establishment of a Chinese standard agricultural products testing laboratory will help expand the export of Kazakh agricultural products to China.
In addition, Kazakhstan's exports of heavily processed products, forage and feed, meat and meat products, milk and dairy products will increase significantly.
According to statistics, from January to July 2022, the trade volume of agricultural products between Kazakhstan and China increased by 46.7 percent year-on-year to $412.5 million.
Kazakhstan's agricultural exports rose 62.2 percent to $280.4 million. imports from China rose 22.2 per cent to $132.1 million.
