In the first nine months of this year, Cambodia exported nearly 450,000 tons of rice to the international market, and China is still the largest export market for Cambodian rice, accounting for 44.09% of the total exports.
According to the report released by the Cambodian Rice Federation, from January to September this year, Cambodian rice was exported to 55 destinations, with an export volume of 449,326 tons.
The report noted that China is still the largest export market for Cambodian rice, accounting for 44.09%. It is followed by France with 14.83 percent, Malaysia with 5.58 percent, the Netherlands with 4.65 percent, Italy with 2.65 percent, Gabon with 2.63 percent, Brunei with 2.44 percent, the United Kingdom with 2.45 percent and Germany with 2.08 percent.
The report said that in the first nine months of this year, Cambodia exported 2,357,674 tons of rice, mainly to Vietnam, with total exports of about US$563.54 million. During the period, Cambodia's rice and paddy exports totaled about $850 million.
