During the video inspection conducted by GACC over eight aquatic companies, including M/s Milesh Marine Exports Pvt. Ltd. (Registration No. 1862), M/ S. Aishwarya Impex (Registration No. 1894) and M/ S. Good Will Enterprise (registration number 1138), from India, EMPACADORA GRUPO GRANMAR S.A., EMPAGRAN (registration No. 32) and EXPALSA, Exportadora de Alimentos S.A. (Registration No. 143) from Ecuador, Dong An Co., Ltd. (Registration number HK442) and Hai Viet Seafood Export Co., Ltd (Registration number HK393) from Vietnam and B/P Maria Alejandra Iº (Xeitosino S.A.) (registration number: 5243) from Argentina were found to have serious noncompliance with the Guidelines for Preventing Transmission of COVID-19 within Food Business issued by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Their food safety and hygiene control does not conform to Chinese import regulations.
Besides, Conarpesa (Continental Armadores de Pesca S.A.) of Argentina (Registration number 2267) failed to cooperate with the Chinese side to complete the on-site video inspection for two consecutive times.
Chinese customs has decided to suspend acceptance of import declarations for aquatic products from the above eight enterprises after November 3, 2022 . The above information has been communicated to the official competent authorities of related exporting countries.
