Us revised residue limits for sulfur dioxide in blueberries

On November 17, 2022, the US Environmental Protection Agency issued Regulation 2022-25014 to modify the Sulfur Dioxide residue limit in blueberries, the Federal Register reported.

EPA conducted a risk assessment of toxicity, dietary exposure, and effects on infants and young children and concluded that the following residual limits are safe. The proposed amendments are as follows:

This regulation will take effect on November 17, 2022, and requests for objections or hearings need to be filed by January 17, 2023.
