On December 16, 2022, the Danish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries issued Bulletin No. 10380, the Meat Inspection Guidelines.
The main contents of the guidelines include: scope of application (ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection of artificially raised pigs, cattle, sheep, horses, rabbits, poultry and wild meat animals, including inspection of meat products for export), meat inspection terminology, official veterinarians and ability requirements and division of responsibilities of slaughterhouse inspection technicians, ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection procedures for various meat animals and their products, operating points and evaluation rules, necessary situations (such as suspected risk of veterinary compounds exceeding the standard, pathogenic microorganism contamination risks, etc.), the sampling and inspection procedures, laboratory inspection requirements, and the use requirements of inspection marks, etc. This guideline is effective as of the date of publication.
