GACC MARA Announcement No. 123 of 2023 (Announcement on lifting restrictions on the export of Russian Pork to China that meet quarantine requirements)

On September 28, the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) issued Announcement No. 123 of 2023, which is as follows:

 

According to the results of the risk assessment, from the date of this announcement, Russian pork that meets the regional management requirements of African swine fever will be allowed to be exported to China. The former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the former Ministry of Agriculture Announcement No. 125 in 2008 on the restrictions on the above products are no longer implemented.

Requirements for inspection and quarantine of Russian pork exported to China will be formulated separately.
