RASFF: Listeria monocytogenes detected in Polish exports of hot-smoked eel fillets

According to the EU Rapid alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), on 20 November 2024, Poland notified through RASFF that its exports of hot-smoked eel fillets were unsatisfactory. The details of the notification are as follows:

According to the notification, the failed product was sold to Germany. Foodmate reminds food exporters to export products in strict accordance with the requirements of the EU member states, pay attention to the presence of various pathogenic bacteria in the products to ensure the safety of the products and avoid the export risk.
