On June 3, 2018, the General Office of the State Council issued an opinion on promoting the promotion of dairy industry to ensure the quality and safety of dairy products. Mainly to promote the revitalization of the dairy industry, ensure the quality and safety of dairy products, boost the confidence of the masses in domestic dairy products, and further increase the competitiveness of the dairy industry. The requirements have been fulfilled from the aspects of strengthening the construction of milk source bases, improving the processing and distribution system of dairy products, strengthening the supervision of quality and safety of dairy products, increasing the guidance of dairy product consumption, and improving safeguard measures.

     The SAMR issued the "Food Carrageenan Determination" food supplement inspection method

    On June 11, 2018, the General Administration of Market Supervision issued the Food Supplementary Test Method for Determination of Carrageenan in Live Meat. This method is applicable to the quantitative determination of carrageenan in raw meat, cooled meat and frozen meat, and provides a method For the determination of carrageenan in raw and fresh meat by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.
