As of March 24, 2020, China Customs approved the registration of 997 overseas meat manufacturers in 2020, of which, 450 are pork manufacturers.
According to the GACC data, China has imported 1.25 million tons of meat from January to February this year, with YOY growth rate of 69.6%, among which, the importation of pork was 720 thousand tons, with a 98.2% YOY increase.
