Korean electronic health certificate for animal products will be applied to "Australian meat"

 
On August 27, Korean Food and Drug Safety Department (MFDS) issued that: To improve livestock import declaration process, the provision: animal products when imported into Korea, may submit the original “export health certificate*" change to "electronic health certificate". This provision will be first used in "Australia produced meat**" on September 1, and will continue to expand the scope of application of the country in the future.

*Export health certificate: a certificate negotiated between the government of the exporting country and the government of South Korea. It refers to the certificate issued by the government of the exporting country after confirming South Korea's import sanitary requirements, export product name, quantity and weight, workshop name, workshop address and registration number, production and processing dates and other information every time it exports.
