On August 24, 2021, the Russian Federal Bureau of Technical Regulations and Metrology approved the release of a number of newly revised food standards:
(1) The standard for the determination of tin content by atomic absorption method in raw materials and food (standard number: GOST 33413-2015), which applies to the flame atomic absorption method for determining tin content in raw materials and food. The measurement range of tin content is from 25.0 mg/kg to 1000.0 mg/kg, and the measurement limit of tin content is 25.0 mg/kg. The effective date is August 24, 2021;
(2) "Determination of Melamine Content in Milk, Dairy Products, and Soy Products" (standard number: GOST 34515-2019). This standard applies to milk, dairy products, and soy products. It specifies the high performance liquid chromatography method for determining the content of melamine. The measurement range of melamine content is 0.5-10.0mg/kg, and the limit of quantification (LOQ) of melamine is 0.5mg/kg. , The effective date is August 24, 2021;
(3) "Determination of Food Pesticides and Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) with High Fat Content" (standard number: GOST EN 1528-1-2014). The scope of the standard specifies methods for detecting pesticides and PCB residues in foods that contain a lot of fat. Each method described in the standard is suitable for quantifying the fat content of animal and plant foods to detect chlorine or phosphorus pesticides. Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are tested together with organic chlorinating agents to determine their maximum limits, and the effective date is August 24, 2021;
(4) "Sampling of animal and vegetable oils and fats" (standard number: GOST ISO 5555-2016), which stipulates the sampling method of untreated and processed animal and vegetable oils and describes the equipment used in the sampling process. The effective date It is August 24, 2021;
(5) "Milk and dairy products, determination of calcium, sodium, potassium and magnesium content-atomic absorption spectrometry". This standard specifies the enzymatic method for the determination of calcium, sodium, potassium and magnesium in milk and dairy products. This method is used for milk, whey, buttermilk, yogurt, cream, milk powder, butter, cheese, casein and caseinate. The effective date is August 24, 2021.
