South Korea revised "Allowed Countries (Regions) and Hygienic Conditions for Imports of Livestock Products"
On September 10, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of South Korea issued Announcement No. 2021-443, intending to amend part of the "Allowed Countries (Regions) and Hygienic Conditions for imports of Livestock Products", the main contents of which are as follows:
1. Add Ready to cook (RTC) meat products in meat products to the imported sanitary assessment object.
2. The sterilization treatment conditions of sterilized meat products shall be specified as the current sterilization temperature and time in the Codex Alimentarius.
3. The import of dairy products from Latvia and Slovakia is allowed.
