Japan plans to formulate agricultural standards for soybean meat
On September 6, 2021, the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries issued a bulletin to be developed Japanese agricultural standard on soybean meat products, feedback period is 60 days. The main content to be formulated is:
1. Processing soybeans as the main raw material into soybean meat food with meat characteristics.
2. Stipulates the content of soybean protein and production methods.
3. Includes the scope of application, terms and definitions, production methods and labels, etc.
