SFA implementes "Maximum Residue Limits for Veterinary Drugs in Food"

On January 7, 2022, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) issued a circular that SFA additionally formulated "Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for Veterinary Drugs in Foods" and the requirements of this MRLs are in line with the relevant Codex standards or regulatory standards of major developed countries after reviewing "Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides and Veterinary Drugs Not Allowed in Foods" issued on April 10, 2020

From January 17, 2022, SFA will implement new MRLs for designated veterinary drugs in food, and all traders should ensure that food sold on and after the date of implementation complies with the new MRLs.
