Singapore lifts import restrictions on poultry from Denmark

On April 14, 2022, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) announced that it will lift restrictions on the import of poultry and its products from the Danish city of Langeland.

It is understood that on April 11, 2022, Singapore imposed temporary import restrictions on poultry and its products from areas affected by the H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza epidemic in Langeland, Denmark.

Singapore's National Parks Board/Animal and Veterinary Services (NParks/AVS) has lifted temporary restrictions on the import of poultry and poultry products from Langeland following clarification from the Danish authorities on the outbreak. In view of this, poultry and poultry products from Langeland can continue to be accepted for import.
