The United States has updated its report on suspected salmonella contamination in peanut butter

On May 25, 2022, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) updated its report on the investigation of suspected salmonella contamination in peanut butter in the Salmonella Outbreak Investigation: Peanut Butter (May 2022).  The daily update focused on international distribution of the recalled products.  According to customer information provided by J.M.Smucker on May 23, 2022, the recall affects the following countries and territories outside the United States: Canada, Dominican Republic, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Honduras, Spain, Japan and Taiwan.  For more information, international officials and customers can visit the company's recall page.
