On June 8, Japan's Consumer Affairs Agency announced that it plans to revise the labeling permit for specific health food.  In addition to clarifying part of the original definition, scope of application and procedures for partial application exemption, the following contents are mainly revised:  
   
1. Revise the health use labeling of calcium and folic acid in certain health food products (disease risk reduction labeling);  
   
2. Add risk reduction labels of caries related disease ;  
   
3. Add distinction for multiple health care uses in specific health care food (Specification standard type) labels .  
   
The above content is now open to public opinion till July 7, 2022.
