On 13 June 2022, the Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) of New Zealand issued Circular No. 51784, proposing to revise the agricultural and veterinary drug residue limits.  The main contents include:

(1) The MRLs of abamectin and other 5 kinds of agricultural and veterinary drugs in some foods are added. The specific contents are listed in original table (* indicates that the MRLs are set at or close to the detection limit);

(2) The "vegetable and fruit" crop grouping corresponding to the MRLs of malathion and other pesticides was revised to be consistent with the CODEX classification;

(3) Delete the maximum residue limits of amcylotin and other two pesticides.

The feedback period of the revision is until August 12, 2022.
