US revised residue limits for Spiropidion in cucumbers and cantaloupes

On July 20, 2022, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued Regulation 2022-15410 to amend residue limits for Spiropidion in certain foods, according to the Federal Register.
 
The EPA conducted a risk assessment of toxicity, dietary exposure, and effects on infants and young children and concluded that the following residue limits are safe. The proposed amendments are as follows:

Note: The above products are not registered in the United States until July 20, 2022.
 
The regulation takes effect on July 20, 2022, and objections or requests for hearings must be filed by September 19, 2022.
