South Korea Published Amendment to the "Labeling Standards for Foods"
Establishment of detailed labeling methods for providing information electronically via barcodes such as QR codes:
(1) To facilitate consumer access to food labeling information, regulations have been defined for providing detailed labeling information electronically, using methods such as QR codes.
(2) Detailed labeling requirements have been specified, including the scope of products subject to barcode labeling, placement of barcodes, required information, font size, and other relevant criteria.
