Cambodian agricultural export value increases significantly in 2024

Cambodia's agricultural sector made remarkable achievements in 2024, with the export value of major agricultural products increasing significantly, according to a report released by the Ministry of Commerce.

  

According to the report, in the first 11 months of 2024, Cambodia's rice exports amounted to 1.27 billion USD, up 16.4% year-on-year; rice exports amounted to 440 million USD, up 4.0% year-on-year; cassava exports amounted to 620 million USD, up 13.4% year-on-year; rubber exports amounted to 52 million USD, up 15.8% year-on-year; and cashew nut exports amounted to 500 million USD, up 31% year-on-year; Fresh mango exports amounted to US$140 million, up 24 percent year-on-year; banana exports amounted to US$140 million, down 11.2 percent year-on-year; and exports of other agricultural products, such as corn, pepper, longan and cane sugar, totaled US$310 million. China, Vietnam and Thailand are the main importers of Cambodian agricultural products.
