On October 15, the General Office of the General Administration of Customs of China issued a notice of “Cancellation of the Approval for Archival Filing of Export Food Production Enterprises”. The contents mainly include:
1. All the customs shall, from the date of the decision of the State Council, stop the approval of "Archival Filing of Export Food Production Enterprises" and change it to archival filing administration.
2. Since 2021, export food production enterprises shall submit the Annual Report of Enterprise Credit Information in accordance with the Provisions of the “Measures for The Administration of Enterprise Credit of the Customs of the People's Republic of China”, and shall not submit any other annual report. The Customs shall include the enterprise in the “List of Enterprises with Abnormal Credit Information” if it fails to submit the report in accordance with the provisions.
3. If an enterprise violates relevant laws and regulations or customs supervision provisions in import and export trading, customs office shall impose administrative penalties on the relevant enterprise according to law. If enterprises voluntarily discloses the circumstances, the Customs shall make lighter, mitigated, or not impose punishment according to the circumstances of the case.
