Japan has revised the Rules for the Implementation of the Food Hygiene Law and other documents

On October 26, the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare issued announcement 1026 No. 2 , saying that the following amendments are made to the "Food Hygiene Law Implementation Rules" and other documents:

 

1. Add L-calcium tartrate to Table 1 of the Implementation Rules of the Food Hygiene Law;

 

2. Modification of the standards for the residue limits of afidopyropen, ampicillin, Cyantraniliprole, cyfluthrin, tetraniliprole, bacitracin, picoxystrobin, phenoxymethylpenicillin, flufenoxuron,  Pencycuron and Lubabegron in the Specification Standards for Food and Additives, Etc.;

 

3. Add the composition specification and use standard of L-calcium tartrate in the Specification Benchmark of Food and Additives, and modify the use standard of potassium ferricyanide;

 

4. Added abscisic acid to the Notice of Extra-Subject Substances.
