On August 5, 2022, the European Commission adopted Regulation No. 2022/1375. According to this regulation, the European Union has officially included the synthetic antioxidant ethoxyquin on the banned list. Except for fishmeal imported from the EU, any agricultural products that have been fed with feed containing this substance are also prohibited from importing. The regulations will come into force 20 days after they are announced.
