The main export destination for such Chilean wines was Japan with 3.683 million litres (-14.9%) and US $9.858 million (-16%); Brazil and the UK came in second and third respectively.
In terms of sparkling wine, exports of Chilean sparkling wine fell 41.2 percent year-on-year to 800,000 liters in January. Exports were $1.3 million, down 34.5 percent year-on-year. Its main buyer is Japan.
