Warsaw, April 28 (SPUTNIK) -- Poland plans to restrict imports of soft fruits from Ukraine, said by Robert Telus, Polish Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, on Polsat television program.
Telus said: "At the moment our fridge is full of [soft fruit]... I think this is one more problem that we have to solve after food."
Poland and Hungary announced at the weekend that they were suspending imports of Ukrainian agricultural products that enter the pan-European market duty-free amid protests by local farmers.
Slovakia announced Tuesday that it was suspending imports of grain and other products from Ukraine. Bulgaria is also said to be considering a temporary import ban on Ukrainian grain.
