On April 27, the Department of Industry and Trade of Hai Duang Province and the People's Committee of Thanh Ha County held a meeting to promote lychee consumption to prepare for the upcoming lychee production season.

According to reports, China is still the largest market for Vietnamese lychee, and Vietnamese lychee has to try to meet the Chinese market's new requirements for fresh produce. Qinghe County should strengthen publicity, remind farmers to strictly implement the lychee planting and conservation process, and send professionals to supervise.

At present, the lychee planting area in Thanh Ha County, Hai Duang Province, Vietnam is 3,265 hectares, among which 1700 hectares is the early lychee planting area. A total of 500 hectares of lychee in the county have been certified as Good Agricultural Practice Standard (GAP), and lychee production is expected to reach 40,000 tons this year.

Twenty-one packaging plants in Haiyang province have been given customs codes to export to China, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Thailand. Currently, the Haiyang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is applying for customs codes for export to China for five growing areas and three packaging plants with a capacity of 500 tons per day. Lychee sales and export enterprises said that up to now, 85% of the work has been completed to prepare for the bumper lychee production year.
