On May 11, 2023, the Eurasian Economic Union Committee issued Resolution No. 58, that is, a declaration of conformity must be submitted when importing (declaring that the product meets the requirements of the Union's technical regulations on the safety of aquatic products and their products (TR EAEU 040/2016)). The list of aquatic products subject to mandatory inspection and evaluation, specifically including frozen, fresh or dried edible algae, frozen aquatic invertebrates, dried, pickled or smoked fish, caviar and other 6 categories of products (excluding children’s products) Edible aquatic products, nutritional supplements made from aquatic products as the main raw materials, etc.).


This resolution will take effect 30 days after its release.
