9 Honduran companies have registered to export shrimp products to China

According to news from SeafoodMedia on June 15, the Honduran Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG) announced that a total of 9 Honduran companies have registered to export shrimp to China.


These companies are located in the southern part of the country, and they will abide by all regulations related to aquatic product hygiene proposed by the Chinese side when the Honduran delegation visited China.


The Honduran Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG) stated that it is promoting cooperative production of shrimp, lobster, melons and meat with China, cutting off production with Taiwan.

Honduras and China have signed an agreement on hygiene requirements for farmed aquatic products.
