The Philippine Department of Agriculture suspended imports of Dutch poultry products

According to the Philippine media reported on August 15, due to the outbreak of bird flu, the Philippine Department of Agriculture suspended the import of poultry products from the Netherlands from August 11, including meat products of domestic and wild birds, chicks, eggs and frozen sperm, but all Dutch poultry products produced before July 9 can still transit, loading or receiving at Philippine ports. Dutch authorities have reported to the World Health Organization an outbreak of H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza in the town of Dronten in the province of Flevoland.
