On 28 September 2023, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) proposed to revise its guidance on the labelling of low alcohol drinks, with a comment period ending on 23 November. The main contents are as follows:

(1) Conditions under which DHSC recommends the use of descriptors such as "no alcohol", "dealcohol", "no alcohol" and "low alcohol";

(2) Digital information showing alcohol concentration on the label;

(c) display the UK Chief Medical Officer's low risk drinking guidelines on labels and communicate this information to consumers;

(4) Show age restrictions on non-alcoholic and low-alcohol products and prevent children and adolescents from accessing and consuming related beverages.
