On 29 November 2023, the Commission of the Eurasian Economic Union issued Proposal No. 0108874, which proposes to establish a list of products subject to a declaration of conformity (declaring that the products comply with the requirements of the Technical Regulation on the Safety of Poultry Meat and Products of the Union (TR EAEU 051/2011) at the time of import and subject to mandatory inspection and assessment. 

Specifically, it includes 8 categories of products such as poultry meat (including edible offal), poultry fat, canned poultry meat, poultry sausage, collagen and gelatin from poultry sources, and processed poultry meat products (processing methods include air drying, salting, boiling, etc.).

The proposal is subject to a comment period ending December 21, 2023.
