On December 1, 2023, the Danish Government Gazette published Announcements No. 1389 and 1388, namely the new "Administrative Order on the Requirements for the Fortification of Vitamins and Minerals in Food" and the "Administrative Order on the Requirements for the Fortification of Nutrients Other Than Vitamins and Minerals in Food".

Compared with the old regulations, the new regulations amend or add the strengthening requirements of nutrients in some food categories, which are partially shown in the table below. These two executive orders will take effect on January 1, 2024, and repeal the old regulations.
