On 10 January, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea released a plan to strengthen the import inspection of Lunar New Year food in 2024.

Inspection period: 2024.1.15~2024.2.2

Inspection method : Agricultural products (1 time for each exporting company and each packing place), aquatic products (1 time for each manufacturing company), livestock products (1 time for each factory), processed foods and health functional foods (more than 1 time for each manufacturing company).
