On 22 February 2024, Food Standards Australia New Zealand(FSANZ) issued Notice 282-24, with application No. A1283, to seek comment on the use of 2'-fucosyl lactose (2'-FL) produced by genetically modified Corynebacterium glutamicum in infant formula.

The closing date for comments is 6pm (Canberra time) on 22 March 2024.
