On 29 February 2024, Notice F2024L00250 was published on the website of the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette, amending the Amendment Instrument for the Revision of the Standard for Maximum Residue Limits for Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (No. 1) 2024, which is to revise the MRLs for a number of agro-veterinary drugs, including bupivacaine, in some food products, and the amendment is effective from the date of publication in the Gazette.
