EU amendments to the limit of residues in food

On 16 April 2024, the Official Journal of the European Union published Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1076 amending Annexes II and V to Regulation (EC) 396/2005 on the limits of residues of agricultural and animal residues in food, which entered into force on the 20th day after the publication. Major amendments to Delete (EC) Maximum residue limits (MRL) for Bispyribac, metosulam, oryzalin, oxasulfuron and triazoxide in food in Annex II to Regulation 396/2005, The residue limits for relevant drug residues are set as determination limits (LOD) and listed in Annex V. The revised partial limits are shown in the table below, where * indicates the lower limit of analytical determination:
