On June 21, 2024, the Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) issued Consultation document No. 1268 on the proposed revision of the Standard Regulations for the Use of Food Additives, with a comment period ending on August 27, 2024, to provide information on the proposed revision of the Standard Regulations for the Use of Food Additives. The main content is to add usage requirement for two new food additives, including rosemary extract, in some foods, as shown in the table below.
