On July 12, 2019, the General Administration of Customs held a press conference on imports and exports in the first half of 2019.

According to the customs, the total value of China's international trade (import and export) in the first half of this year was 14.67 trillion RMB, with an increase of 3.9% over the same period of last year. Among which, the value of exports was 7.95 trillion RMB, with an increase of 6.1%; import value was 6.72 trillion RMB, increasing 1.4%; trade surplus was 1.23 trillion RMB, increasing 41.6%.
