On July 11, 2019, National Health Commission (NHC) issued an announcement that the safety assessment of 11 novel food additives and 8 new varieties of food related products has been reviewed and approved according to the Food Safety Law. 

2. NHC | Solicited Opinions on 43 National FoodSafety Standards and 4 Standard Amendment Forms (Draft for comment)

On July 22, 2019， the National Health Commission (NHC) issued an announcement to solicit public opinions on 43 National Food Safety Standards, such as the National Food Safety Standard Food additives Orange yellow and National Food Safety Standard Good manufacturing practice for formula foods for special medical purposes, and 4 Standard Amendment Forms (Draft for comment).

The deadline for solicitation is September 22, 2019.

3. GAC | Unqualified imported Foods & Cosmetics in June, 2019

According to the monthly notice of unqualified foods and cosmetics by GAC, 76 batches of imported foods and 10 batches of imported cosmetics were found unqualified and refused for entry in June, 2019.
