According to the data recently released by the Office of Agricultural Research and Policy of the Ministry
of Agriculture of Chile, in the first half of 2019, Chilean meat exports
increased by 9% YOY, of which China has become the largest destination for Chilean meat exports.
In the first half of 2019, Chile's meat exports value reached about 476 million US dollars, and the largest export destination country of pork, chicken and beef was China. Among them, pork exports amounted to 262 million US dollars, China accounted for 30%; chicken exports amounted to 183 million US dollars, mainly exported to China, UK and Puerto Rico; beef exports amounted to 30.8 million US dollars and China accounted for 71%.
