Sampling | 5 Batches of Unqualified Foods ([2019] No. 39)

Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) organised inspections of foods (387 batches) and found out batches unqualified. 3 food categories were involved, which were health food, honey products and edible agricultural products.



The unqualified reasons were microbial contamination (involving 1 batch of health food sold online), veterinary drug residue issue (involving 1 batch of honey sold online and 1 batch of pork sold offline), heavy metal contamination (involving 1 batch of shrimp sold offline), and substandard quality index (involving 1 batch of fish sold offline)
