December 13, 2019, Natio
nal Health Commission (NHC) issued an announcement that the safety assessment of
11 novel food additives and
17 new varieties of food related products has been reviewed and approved according to the
Food Safety Law.
The detailed information of 11 novel food additives is as follows:
1. Novel enzyme preparations for food industry
2. Novel spices
3. Food Fortifiers with expanded usage
4. Food Additives with expanded usage
The detailed information of 17 new varieties of food related products is as follows:
1. New Varieties of additives for food contact materials and products
2. Expanded usage of additives for food contact materials and products
3. New varieties of resin for food contact materials and products
