Case Study | Containing insects and faking production dates

Case Study | Containing insects and faking production dates by Global Foodmate

Wu purchased noodles and sold them to Yu as a retailer.

Yu found that the noodles were rotten and contained insects, so Yu complained to the Administration for Market Regulation.

Upon investigation, Wu pasted a false production date label on the noodle outer packaging, and the rotting was caused by the noodle manufacturer who failed to dry noodles thoroughly.

Therefore, Administration for Market Regulation confiscated the illegal income of the noodle manufacturer and imposed a fine to the manufacturer; asked Wu to return Yu’s payment and paid ten times compensation to Yu.
