The General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs joint promulgated the "Announcement on the Prevention of Newcastle Disease in Bulgaria into China", which takes effect from the date of promulgation. The announcement concerns the prohibition of direct or indirect import of poultry and related products from The State of Vidin in Bulgaria. Sending or bringing into Bulgaria birds and their products from the state of Vidin is prohibited. once found, they will be returned or destroyed. Any poultry or its products found on an entry vessel, aircraft or any other means of transport from The State of Vidin of Bulgaria shall be put under seal, and shall not be unsealed during the period of stay or operation in the territory of China without customs approval. All wastes and slops shall be disposed of innocently under the supervision of the Customs and shall not be discarded without authorization.
