South Korea | Issue Partial Amendments to the Implementation Rules of the Food Sanitation Law
Foodmate News: On October 16, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued a partial amendment to the "Food Sanitation Law Implementation Rules". The main amendments are as follows:
Those who are directly engaged in the production, processing, cooking, and packaging of food or food additives should improve their personal hygiene management level and wear masks. According to the Basic Law on Disaster and Safety Management, if an early warning of infectious diseases or a serious crisis warning is issued, the catering business must have supplies or devices that can disinfect the hands of customers.
The above amendments will be implemented on November 6.
