On December 25, the General Administration of Customs and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued an announcement to prevent the introduction of highly pathogenic avian influenza into China from Ireland. Sending or bringing poultry and poultry products from Ireland is prohibited. once found, they will be returned or destroyed. This announcement shall come into effect as of the date of promulgation.

       12月25日，海关总署、农业农村发布防止爱尔兰高致病性禽流感传入我国的公告。禁止寄递或携带来自爱尔兰的禽类及其产品入境。一经发现，一律作退回或销毁处理等。本公告自发布之日起实施。
