On January 22, the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly issued the Notice on Lifting the Ban on Foot and Mouth Disease in Certain Areas of Laos. According to the results of risk assessment, the ban on the outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease in certain areas of Mongsin County in Nam Tha Province will be lifted from January 22, 2021.
