On September 26, the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) issued the Announcement No. 73 of 2021, No longer issuing GSP certificates of origin for goods exported to the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to a report from the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Eurasian Economic Union has decided to no longer giving GSP tariff preferences to Chinese products exported to the Union from October 12, 2021. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
1. Starting from October 12, 2021, the customs will no longer issue GSP certificates of origin for goods exported to member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
2. If the shipper of goods exported to the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union needs a certificate of origin, it may apply for the issuance of a non-preferential certificate of origin.
