On September 16, 2021, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a Pakistani company, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in 2 samples of a batch of frozen tongue soles from Pakistan. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Pakistani aquatic product company M/s. Son of the Sea (Registered number: T-72/98) import declaration for 1 week from September 16. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
